Seventh and last shave with the Crystal Super Platinum blade. Another reasonable shave this morning. I gave myself two tiny weepers under my nose again. I think the seventh shave pushed this particular blade a little too far. I could feel some stubble under my nose during my rinse after my third and final pass, so I did a spot of buffing. I should not have bothered as I gave myself the two weepers. Oh well, one day I will learn.

Good shave, BBS- on the cheeks, DFS on the neck. Two passes: WTG & ATG.

LEA puck soap, Omega boar brush, MingShi2000 razor.

Today's shave went well. The ninth shave with this blade delivered as good a shave as I've seen in this challenge. Nothing exotic, but a BBS on autopilot.

Week five for me in the Vikings at the Gate blade challenge. Back with the Vikings Sword Super Stainless blade. No dramas today. Just a good shave with no irritation or redness and very little sting when I used my Alum Block. Looking forward to a great week.

Three-pass shave, 2xWTG, ATG. BBS-, time to change to the Crystals again, which I seem to prefer.

2+ pass.....felt smooth, sharp blade and no cuts/blood etc. Close shave

BUT had some burning later......

Well let's see how shave 2 comes.....the burning issue was not good.

Vikings At The Gate - Crystal Super Platinum(2) - Shave(1)

I was looking forward to getting back to the Crystal Plats (my favorite from the challenge thus far) and today they delivered a fine DFS with a few nicks to show for it but nothing dramatic. Overall it played like a typical new blade, slightly prickly but efficient (kind of reminded me of a fresh Astra in some ways). I had a superb lather to work with so my post-shave was high, hardly any burn from the "Spice" which tells you you've done alright. I think I'll do some Tech-ing with this blade for the rest of the week.

I had a really good shave this morning. No drama at all just a really good shave. I had very little sting when I used my Alum Block. I am very happy with everything shaving this morning.

No drama, just a good clean shave. To give you an idea how uneventful the shave was, the biggest event of the shave was that the jar of L&B has shaved its last.

Today's shave was a DFS+ with no weepers, nicks, or post-shave irritation.

Third shave of the week and a very good shave. Nothing to report but a small amount of sting when I applied my Alum Block. I do like these blades, so far so good in this blade challenge.
