The only change from last Monday is that I'm using the Blue Bird blade I'm place of the Ming-Shi. It is amazing how just replacing the blade can give you a whole new shave. The Blue Bird is a much better blade and is more consistent though I don't think it will last too long. I do think that it performs better in the Lupo though, giving a closer shave so I will switch back for my next shave.

Not often nowadays that I use a razor that doesn't have scales two days in a row. These are such different shavers, but each great in their own way. The Henson+ was today's shave, Hawk V3A yesterday.

Tonight the first 3017 shave of the week was the same as Sundays as I swapped back to the Lupo hoping for a better finish. Although my face ended with a BBS my neck was still a little rough though a slight improvement on last night. I am not sure the Blue Bird will last too much longer as it already seems to be losing its edge, though that does mean I am likely to get through the tuck quicker.

I used Nivea cream for a change. I'm impressed with how close a result this Game Changer gives, when I don't bother with ATG.
For me, it's the perfect upgrade from the .84 baseplate.

TOBS Sandalwood soap & aftershave
I'm still in the zone with this setup. A lot of the credit must go to the brush though. It is wonderfully soft, has little in the way of backbone and splays very easily. The upshot of this is that the lather I can whip up from this soap has never been better.
